Title: Has anyone grown "gourmet" varieties in their home?

I hate the boring iceberg leaf I get at the supermarket and would like to have a stab at cultivating some gourmet greens in the kitchen. I read a post on abodelook stating that some lettuce types  (https://abodelook.com/knowledge-hub/types-of-lettuce/)(Bibb, Oak Leaf) grow well with LED grow lights. Anyone grown these indoors with a hydroponic system? I wonder if the taste is as good as farmer's market salad.
