Compressor clutch failure usually causes complete loss of cooling rather than a temporary warm period followed by recovery. The fact that turning it off and back on sometimes restores cooling suggests a pressure or thermal cutout issue rather than a mechanical fault.

A service check from a regular garage is oil, filters, and a visual once over. A proper pre purchase inspection includes paint thickness readings, full module scanning, lift inspection, and a detailed photo report. Completely different scope of work.

Slamming into reverse and hesitation into drive on a ZF 8 speed is classic mechatronic failure behavior. The fact that it was diagnosed correctly and fixed properly shows the Sharjah specialist actually understood the fault.
