I’ve been driving a 2022 Nissan Patrol and lately I’ve noticed the battery struggles to turn over after sitting for just two days, especially with this insane humidity we’re having. I mostly do short city runs around Dubai – maybe 15 to 20 minutes each way – and I’m wondering if the alternator just isn’t getting enough time to fully recharge it, or if the heat is simply cooking the cells. I checked the date on the current unit and it’s only about 18 months old, so I’m a bit annoyed it’s already giving me warning signs. I was thinking of upgrading to something with more reserve capacity, but I also don’t want to waste money if the issue is my driving habits. A friend mentioned that AGM batteries handle the stop-start cycles better, but I’m not sure if they’re worth the extra cost for my use case. I’ve been reading about different options and I think I’ll
